Taking a week off because of storage needs and the way the month is structured, but if you'd like a show, there's a new show up over at my Patreon, where for just $5 a month, you can get an additional show every week. Consider joining, it helps a lot!
http://www.patreon.com/StarlightSociety - your support means the world to me. I'll see everyone next week.
And here's a list of all the RIP/remembrance shows I've done. When someone in music passes away, usually we'll play a single song of their in memory of them on that week's show. But for some people, it's just not enough. I also realized I wanted to sometimes do shows like these for people who passed away before I started doing the show, so those are included here also:
I realized I need an easy place to keep track of all the scene shows we've done, so here's that list:
For Patreon folks who heard my Monday show and thought I sounded like shit on a cracker, I am indeed finally feeling myself again and am happy to bring you this week's show...
Another Monday, another exclusive Patreon show! You could get them all for just $5 a month! https://www.patreon.com/posts/p7-my-crazy-arms-30019371
All our Patreon-exclusive shows are going to be 2 hours long or so now, moving forward. For as little as $5 a month, you can get 8 hours of additional show! Such deal! Many recommends!
For those of you who want even more from Starlight Society, boy have I got news for you! I now do an additional show a week, over at Patreon. For as little as $5 a month, you can get access to 4 extra shows EACH MONTH. If you are interested, you can go over to https://www.patreon.com/StarlightSociety and subscribe there.
You'll also have access to our Discord channel! There's additional benefits for people who subscribe at higher tiers, but for as little as seventeen cents a day, you can help the podcast be stable and encourage me to make even more of them.
If you just want to listen to the free show each week, that's fine too, we're happy to have you, all your friends and even some of your enemies. Tell all of them. But if you want that little bit more, check out the Patreon and get inside with the high rollers! We'd love to have you.
I know I tout some shows as being more particularly random than others, but this is about as random as I've been in a while. I mean, jazz, Swedish electro-pop, hip hop, 80s pop... yeah, it's all over the place. But I like it and hopefully you do too. Keep in mind, the show popped up almost a day earlier on my Patreon, and I may start putting out an additional episode each month exclusively for Patreon. So consider that!
Posting on Friday today, rather than Thursday night, because I felt like it. Still, who else brings you power pop, acid jazz, regular jazz, post rock, regular rock and who knows what else I throw in there.... Have fun! Support me over at my Patreon!
Sometimes I don't have a whole lot to say about a show. This might be one of those shows. Maybe not! It's hard to say. I mean, I could tell you it's a very random show, but it's always a very random show. I could tell you I've got weird things planned, but that's usually true. Maybe you should just listen and enjoy it.
It's another year-end review of all the concerts I saw this year. When I was putting together this episode, I had some decisions to make, but I stand by the paths I took, including adding a song from an artist I didn't technically see perform live but did spend the entire day hanging out with, and I decided that should count, and it's my show, so there.
Two years. One hundred and fifty shows. That's a whole lot of music to sift through, so for those of you who might be new, or maybe don't have time to listen to the show every week, now you can get what I think the best stuff I played in the last year is, in the 3 1/2 hour scene show that covers all of my favorite tracks from last July to this July. Enjoy all the wonderful music. New episode will go up on Friday.
