Here's all the artists I saw live this year. I had to do a few sudden cuts to get it to fit into the amount of space I had left for the month, so excuse any weird hard cuts, and there may still be a couple of mentions about a song that I didn't play this week. I'll explain that all in the next show, and I'll open with that song.
Lots of great musicians this year. Listen, go see them live, buy their albums and their merch. Hopefully you'll find some new things to love.

Setlist:
This week I bring you a bunch of new and upcoming album releases that I'm excited to talk about, plus classic and oldies, and an artist that my friend from Germany (a dude nicknamed Dolly) introduced me to named Wirtz! Join us, won't you?

Setlist:
Another week, another mixtape...

Setlist:
It's our annual cover songs show....

Setlist:
It's been a while, but I haven't left you yet...

Setlist:
So this is our 200th episode. And it's also the biggest episode ever. Best to listen to it without looking at the setlist and come back to read it later.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Setlist:
So I had a challenge to do a mix of all songs/artists with months/seasons, so that's what I did. An entire mix full of those things. Enjoy! Next week, the big 200!

Setlist:
Took off last week on account of being mostly dead, but I'm mostly not dead now, so here's another episode for you.

Setlist:
So, request for a show in the next week or two. Tell me a band that a lot of people you know love that you can't stand, and why you can't stand them. Doesn't even have to be current. The more people give me bands and/or songs, the more I'll have to put in the show that isn't Nickelback. Ha ha! Use the email address or my Twitter handle, both of which I tell you in the episode. Anyway, here's a show.

Setlist:
It's been a hot minute since I've done a scene show, so here's what you need to know in advance. This show runs longer than our normal shows, but is exclusively focused towards one specific subgenre of music, and in this case, the scene is yacht rock. I talk a bunch, explaining some of the history, some of the players and some of the defining characteristics of the scene, and try and give you an overview of what it's all about.
It's a bit of a history lesson filled with lots of great songs, and should give you everything you need to know to engage in a conversation focusing on this weird offshoot of soft rock / adult-oriented rock from the late 70s and early 80s.
If that doesn't not your speed, just come back next week and we'll have returned to our usual musical mayhem, but if you'd like a bit of music history, and the answers to a thousand and one trivia questions, stick around, and let's talk about yacht rock, also semi-inaccurately called "the West Coast Sound."
These episodes are the most fun if you don't look at the setlist until after the show, by the by. So get your admiral's cap, pour yourself a tropical drink and let the wind flow through your hair. (For you bastards who still have hair...)

Setlist:
Skipped last week because I was caught up in the Dota 2 International, the largest esports prize in the world. Maybe I should start a podcast just talking about Dota 2 as well. Hrm. Something to think about. Anyhow, here's a bunch of music!

Setlist:
So the next scene show will be 196, on 8/31, and it'll be Yacht Rock. Today's show, I play a bunch of old favorites, a ton of great new music and we say farewell to a legend who passed away earlier this week.

Setlist:
Still thinking about what to do for a scene show (I was going to do Visual Kei, but I've run into a few snags - I imagine I'll get to it eventually, but we'll see) and I think I've got one. Maybe next week. Maybe the week after that. But for this week, I give you musical whiplash and you love it.

Setlist:
Lots of new music this week, but also lots of classics, lots of strange things, some Italian rock and whatever else I felt like playing...
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Setlist:
Took last week off, so went and gave you an extra sized show this week, clocking in around 3 1/2 hours. Enjoy!

Setlist:
This is the part where I'm supposed to tell you about this week's show, but I'm not gonna. So there.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Setlist:
So. Here we are. Another show, another opportunity for me to fail at being witty in the liner notes. I'm sure I could think of something clever to say, but I simply can't be bothered. So enjoy.

Setlist:
Welcome to any and all newcomers I've picked up in the past week. Enjoy the ride!

Setlist:
Here you go. Tunes for the apocalypse. Bring your own guillotine.

Setlist:
Took a week off because I'm busy with another project, but here's a show!

Setlist:
So there was an error in last week's show. Rather than going back and correcting it, I've simply made the opposite error this week, to even it all out. Do with that information as you see fit.

Setlist:
Sometimes you just gotta let it all burn....
------------
Setlist:
Long tracks this week. So if you decide to skip a track, you need to double your fastforward jumps, at least.
--------------
Setlist:
Trying a few things differently this week. See if you notice and enjoy.
-------------
Setlist:
Dunno what I'm coming down with but I feel drained, so I'm low energy this show, but still delivering you an episode...
