Greetings programs. Welcome to a cybernetic show of The Starlight Society. We, the machines, have taken over the show for a week. You can enjoy this particular episode, or you can be assimilated. It is your choice, if you can call it that. Our meatsuit host will return next week.

"Okay, begin liner notes. Cue writer."
Hey everyone. Fun little show that peels the curtain back behind the inner workings of the podcast and lets you in on what my crew sounds like while they're working. Plenty of awesome music for you, from loads of places.
Share and enjoy.
Tom Petty was one of the biggest songwriters of his generation, comparable to Reed, Springsteen and Dylan. He passed away on Monday, and I wanted to celebrate his career by doing an RIP show to cover the life and times he saw over his 40+ years as a musician. As always, go out and buy some albums, but if you don't think you're familiar with Tom Petty, let me show you just how mistaken you are. These songs are the fabric of generations, and we will not see his like again any time soon.
